Bassjackers in the House: Dutch house duo Bassjackers — aka Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst — haven’t been particularly prolific with the new material of late. Still, their Les Pays Bass EP last year was a bit of a belter. A follow-up to 2019’s full lengther The Biggest will be welcome when it does arrive.

This weekend, they perform at the Academy with a COVID-safe set that will likely bring the house down. The venue says: “Proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours before the event is required to enter our venue. For Entry/COVID guidelines, please feel free to visit our FAQ page: https://academy.la/entryfaq/.” They also offer on-site rapid testing for $20.

Bassjackers in the House: The event takes place at 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 18 at the Academy LA.
