Banc on Guns N’ Roses Kicking Ass: “We’re F’n Back!” announces Guns N’ Roses on the marketing for this mega Banc of California Stadium gig! And what a gig it’s likely to be. Since Axl, Slash and Duff made nice again and got back together in this version of the band (still no Izzy what what can ya do?), the shows have generally been spectacular.

It makes you wonder what might have been had they kept their shit together back when they ruled the world, and continued to make many records over the subsequent decades rather than just the one Axl-led Chinese Democracy. Reaction to new song “Absurd” (in fact a reworking of an old song) has been decidedly mixed. We love it! But anyway, they’re back and on this tour they’ll be supported by Mammoth-WVH (Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie’s son).

Banc on Guns N’ Roses Kicking Ass: The event takes place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 19 at the Banc of California Stadium.
