The DPA Pre-Golden Globes Gifting Suite is an annual event featuring a meticulously curated selection of exclusive brands and innovative products gifted to nominees and guests. This year, the event, which is slated for January 5th and 6th at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, takes a literary turn. Authors represented by Black Château Enterprises, in conjunction with Books That Make You, will step into the spotlight.

Kelly Anne Manuel, Korynn Newville, and William Stevenson will have their books featured in gift bags. Manuel and Newville will be there in person to sign copies of their books for attendees. The venue provides an opportunity that is unlike a typical author book signing. It is intimate and festive, with plenty of Hollywood glamour and flair.

Kelly Anne Manuel has, in a short time, made a name for herself in children’s literature after turning a personal tragedy upside down. Her book, “The Catcher Dream,” symbolizes hope and resilience, a theme that resonates with readers of all ages. Manuel will be present at the event, ready to share her story and chat with attendees.

Korynn Newville, an architectural designer turned author, brings a unique perspective to the gifting suite. Her book, “Indiscernible Elements: Calcium,” is a mixture of illustrations, poetry, and dialogue that dives into environmental issues through the viewpoint of the element calcium. This artistic book takes readers on an unexpected journey where they ponder more than lifestyle choices. She explores themes such as our relationship to the buildings we inhabit, the materials surrounding us, and the elements within and outside us, intertwining with broader topics of life and death. Newville will be at the event, engaging with guests and signing her work.

Though William Stevenson won’t be attending in person, his imaginative storytelling in “Ricky’s Dream Trip to the Ancient Worlds of Egypt, Greece, and Rome” will nonetheless make its way to the attendees through the Books That Make You gift bags. Stevenson’s imaginative historical journey, which began as an adventure tale he wrote for his grandson, aims to educate and entertain young readers around the world.
