26-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Fatal Collision near New Chicago Avenue

VALLE VISTA, CA (July 21, 2022) – Monday night, 26-year-old Austun Cooley was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Acacia Avenue.

The incident happened around 9:15 p.m., near New Chicago Avenue on July 18th.

According to reports, Cooley, was riding his 2012 Yamaha east on Acacia Avenue, at a high rate of speed. There, he collided with a Dodge 2500 pickup-truck that was attempting to back into a residential driveway.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported 26-year-old Cooley to Riverside University Medical Center, where he later died.

Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck, a 34-year-old man, did not suffer any injuries. He was taken in for questioning but no arrests were made.
