Big Bear Lake Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident Identified as Austin Dubuque

BIG BEAR, CA (April 15, 2021) – Friday, two dirt bikes collided in Big Bear Lake leaving Austin Dubuque killed and one injured.

The San Bernardino Coroner’s Office identified the deceased victim as 26-year-old Dubuque, a Big Bear Lake Resident.

According to reports, the fatal incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. Two men riding dirt bikes on the 200 block of South Eureka Drive collided with each other.

As a result, both were thrown from their motorcycles and sustained critical injuries.

Paramedics airlifted Dubuque to a local medical center where he died due to his injuries. Meanwhile, emergency responders also took the other victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The collision remains under active investigation by the police.
