26-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Crash on Madison Street

BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 4, 2021) – Saturday morning, 26-year-old Austin Ray Dennis, died after a collision on Brundage Lane.

The incident took place around 11:30 a.m., at the intersection of East Brundage lane and Madison Street. Emergency crews arrived to the area shortly after.

According to the police, the motorcyclist broadsided the vehicle, forcing it to flip over. The rider was ejected and declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, a man and a woman in the truck were transferred to a local hospital with minor injuries. Although, their identities have not been given.

Additionally, a GoFundMe account was created to assist with funeral costs for Dennis.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has since reopened.
