27-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Peoria Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (September 3, 2024)Austin Coon was killed early Thursday afternoon, in a pedestrian collision on 35th and Peoria Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:00 p.m., on August 29th.

Under circumstances still being investigated, two vehicles collided at the scene, causing one of them to strike three pedestrians standing along the road. The impact left Coon and another woman with severe injuries.

Paramedics transported the woman to a nearby hospital, while 27-year-old Coon was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are actively investigating to gather more information.
