27-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured Following Car Crash into a Tree near Highway 154

LOS ALAMOS, CA (January 10, 2023) – Tuesday morning, Aubriana Aguirre was seriously injured after her vehicle crashed into a tree off Highway 101.

The incident occurred on January 3rd, just before 7:15 a.m., in the northbound lanes of Highway 101, two miles north of Highway 154.

According to reports, Aguirre, in a 2013 Honda Civic, veered to the right of the highway for unknown reasons. The Honda went over the side and crashed into a large oak tree.

Responding personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire extricated 27-year-old Aubriana Aguirre from her vehicle. She was then airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital at 8:00 a.m.

At this time, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear. Santa Barbara County Officials will provide more information once available.
