Multi-Vehicle Crash on Masten Avenue Left One Fatality

GILROY, CA (December 15, 2021) – At least one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Masten Avenue Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Masten Avenue and 6th Avenue.

Furthermore, the crash involved a gray Toyota, a black sedan, and a third unknown vehicle. Both vehicles blocked the road leading to Rucker Elementary School.

First Responders pronounced at least one person died at the scene. Authorities are yet to release the victim’s identity pending kin notification.

As of this time, no further information is available as according to latest reports, police are still investigating the cause of the collision.
