Several Hurt in RV Accident near Lyons Street

SONORA, CA (December 15, 2022) – Tuesday morning, multiple victims were injured in a motorhome collision on Hope Lane.

The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m., near Lyons Street, according to responding authorities.

Following preliminary duties, investigators determined that the brakes on the motorhome failed to stop the vehicle. The driver attempted to make a turn onto Hope Lane, causing the RV to roll over and crash into a wall.

Responding personnel transported two passengers to Adventist Health Sonora for further treatment. Meanwhile, the driver was transported to Valley Trauma Center with significant but non-life-threatening injuries. Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, Sonora County Officials continue investigating the Hope Lane motorhome collision. Once available, further details will be provided.
