Multi-Car Crash on Highway 1 Left Two Hurt

PACIFICA, CA (November 15, 2021) – At least two people suffered injuries and hospitalized following a multi-car crash on Highway 1.

The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m., Tuesday afternoon in the area of Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue.

According to reports, a major five-vehicle collision happened in the area, though the main cause of the crash remains unknown.

Officers responding at the scene took one person in critical condition and one other with severe injuries to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, CHP did not release the identities of the victims. Furthermore, Pacifica police ask anyone with information to call them at (650) 738-7314.

Officers closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup.
