Traffic Collision on Scofield Avenue Ends with Injuries

WASCO, CA (August 23, 2021)  On Thursday, one driver sustained injuries in a traffic collision on Scofield Avenue and McCombs Road in Wasco.

The collision occurred around 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of Scofield Avenue and McCombs Road.

When Wasco deputies arrived at the intersection, they discovered one driver pinned in a vehicle. Kern County Department of Firefighters were called in to remove him.

In the meantime, the other driver was treated on the scene. According to the KCSO, PG&E arrived to repair a utility pole and downed utility lines.

At this point, police have not released their identities nor their conditions. However, an investigation is currently underway.
