Fashion, film and fights are just part of the agenda this weekend at Pacific Media Expo. The annual, three-day convention focuses on a cross section of Asian and American pop culture and offers a wide variety of events. Japanese fashion designer Yuko Ashizawa of Atelier-Pierrot will be on hand, offering fans of gothic Lolita fashion the rare opportunity to try on and purchase the brand's designs in the United States. A number of screening rooms will showcase the latest in anime, Korean drama and Asian feature films. Martial arts workshops and demos will take place over the course of the weekend. PMX is packing a lot of entertainment into one medium-sized hotel. Japanese rock band D will play two concerts over the weekend. Actors C.S. Lee (Dexter, pictured) and Alexandra Bokyun Chun (Saw) will promote their new film, Innocence Blood. And for the anime fans, several artists and voice actors are appearing at the convention. But the fun goes beyond the celebrity guests to dance parties, a cosplay masquerade and shopping opportunities all weekend. Hilton Los Angeles Airport, 5711 W.
