Police investigating reports of a possible home-invasion robbery at the Hollywood Hills home of Ashton Kutcher might actually be checking out what is known in the cop community as a “big nothin.'”

Officers responded to the 3000 block of Arrowhead Drive at 11:08 a.m. because three men were inside a home, Officer Tenesha Dobine told the Weekly.

However, news reports of a home-invasion with a caller hiding in a closet (ahem) might be exaggerated, she indicated:

Rather, three possible workers were being detained and questioned.

In other words, the people in the house might have belonged there.

In any case, we'll keep you posted.
