19-Year-Old Man Dies in Car Crash near South Nogales Highway

TUCSON, AZ (November 21, 2022) – Monday, a car accident on West Pima Mine Road claimed the life of Arturo Ruiz Arvizu.

The fatal incident happened in the 1200 block of West Pima Mine Road around noon on November 7th.

Upon arrival, officials found 19-year-old Arvizu on the highway with serious injuries. Medics then transported him to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Following preliminary duties, officers determined that Arvizu was speeding down Pima Mine Road when his vehicle went off-course.

Although, further details have not yet been determined. At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway.
