Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Fairview Street

SANTA ANA, CA (November 10, 2021) – 41-year-old Arturo Quevedo of Santa Ana died after a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Fairview Street.

The accident happened around 1:20 a.m., Friday in the area of 800 S Fairview Street, just north of McFadden Avenue.

According to reports, Quevedo was walking in the area when two vehicles struck him. The impact sent him lying in the roadway and he suffered major head trauma.

CHP collected video footages of the cars suspected of hitting the victim, an early 2000’s Mercedes Sedan, and a newer model Hyundai.

While, the third vehicle, a white Toyota Corolla that struck the victim apparently stayed and cooperated with the authorities.
