Hailed by LA Weekly as “Downtown LA's best known artist”, Robert Vargas , who appeared on our “Best of LA/People” cover will be painting his first mural of the year this Saturday, January 18th. This will be the first of a three-part mural series in which Vargas will lead the city in reclaiming its status as the mural capitol of the world.
Vargas's infamous live painting style will be in full effect as he will begin and complete this mural in one day, beginning at Noon & finishing at 5pm!
Join us in celebrating art & culture with Robert Vargas as he shares his creative process with the public and adorns the walls at Simple Things restaurant.
