42-Year-Old Man Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver near Camelback Road

GLENDALE, AZ (June 15, 2023) – Early Friday morning, police responded to a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of Arthur Bordeau. It occurred just before 4:30 a.m., June 2nd, in the 5300 block of Camelback Road and 51st Avenue. According to the Glendale police, a late model Ford F150 struck Bordeau and drove away from the scene. Furthermore, the driver continued to drive along the westbound Camelback Road. A second driver involved stayed at the scene and called for emergency services. Consequently, paramedics and crews transported Bordeau to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and died. Meanwhile, the police have yet to confirm it Bordeau was in a crosswalk at that time. Also, impairment for the second driver was listed out by the authorities. On June 6th, the police released a description of the Ford colored with a white camper shell, has black rims, no step rails, and is missing the right rearview mirror. Any information about the suspect vehicle is encouraged to be called to the Glendale Police at 623-930-3000.
