We have officially reached peak Arts District 2019, as the good people of the planet bright stage a new immersive arts-based experience featuring all kinds of high-gloss, socially self-conscious enactments and critiques of the media’s aesthetics of distortion, with lavish performance art pieces and a full bar — all tucked into a warehouse-scale event space behind a progressive locally-owned shoe-making business.

Artists from Echo Park and around the world include Mambo, Marcel Van Luit, Danny Casale, Olivier H. Dressen, Alex Costa and Cocovan — the creator of the world’s longest love letter —  bringing animation, photography, design, digital media, sculpture and environmental installation for a limited time only.

COMUNITYmade, 584 Mateo St., downtown; timed entry tickets July 18-Aug. 3; $12-28. hellobrightworld.com.
