A virtual reality exhibition curated by Isabel Beavers and featuring work by Beavers, Maru García, Richelle Gribble, Julian Stein, asking questions about art’s relationship with the natural world. The selected artists “consider the ubiquity of artificial materials, positionalities and relationships between humans, non-humans, more-than humans and…the impact of climate on local biodiversities.” The exhibition itself debuts the gallery’s newly renovated IRL/VR portal presentation space, itself modeling the kind of hybrid future under discussion. Virtual opening reception: Sunday, July 5, 7-8 p.m.; on view July 5-August 30 in the multiverse; supercolliderart.com.
