The suspect in last year's shooting at a North Hollywood synagogue was arrested today by the Beverly Hills P.D. SWAT team.

The arrest of Christopher Littlejohn, 37, leaves several unanswered questions. He is accused of shooting two men in the leg on Oct. 29 at the Adat Yeshurun Valley Sephardic Synagogue.

Citing unnamed police sources, the Times says that one of the victims, Maor Ben-Nissan, 37, was believed to be the target of the attack. The other, Allen Lasry, 38, was said to be an unlucky bystander.

The sources also allege that Littlejohn has ties to Israeli organized crime figures in L.A. and Las Vegas.
