A man dressed in National Guard attire was arrested Tuesday, as he made his way to Los Angeles City Hall with firearms in hand.

As first reported by Fox 11 Los Angeles, the 31-year-old man was identified as Gregory Wong, and was actually spotted by National Guardsmen, who felt something was off about his attire.

The man was reportedly from Northern California, but was living in Los Angeles.

Wong was charged with manufacturing and distributing assault weapons, and is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.

As protests continue over the death of George Floyd for the seventh day in a row, there have been several peaceful marches in Los Angeles, but also several altercations with law enforcement and vandalization that have led to over 1,200 arrests.
