Motorcycle-Pickup Collision near Colonia Road Left 24-Year-Old Rider Dead

OXNARD, CA (November 17, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, a motorcycle accident on Oxnard Boulevard claimed the life of Armando Juanillo. The fatality occurred around 5:48 a.m. near Colonia Road in the city of Oxnard. According to the investigators, a northbound motorcyclist riding a 2014 Harley Davidson collided with a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup turning from Palm Drive. Tragically, the rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the pickup driver stayed at the location and cooperated with the police. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office later identified the deceased motorcyclist as 24-year-old Armando Juanillo from Oxnard. In the end, officials closed both northbound lanes of Oxnard Boulevard at Columbia Road for about five hours as crews investigated the motorcycle crash.
