We told you about a redheaded student being attacked at a Calabasas middle school as part of “kick a ginger day.” Well, it turns out there were four other carrot tops who got kicked and hit as part of a coordinated redhead attack that was promoted via Facebook.

The anti-redhead violence happened Friday at Friday at A.E. Wright Middle School in Calabasas, a sheriff's deputy said. The first victim was a 12-year-old, but since Monday a few other victims of this opposite-land form of discrimination have stepped forward.

The epithet “ginger” (or, we would prefer, the “g-word”) comes from a South Park episode that decried anti-redhead sentiment. (There was no word on Southpark's stance on redhead-on-redhead violence, but we can only assume the producers consider that even more tragic).

No arrests connected to the attacks have been made, but the investigation is ongoing. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, Redhead Americans are alarmed. No word on whether Conan O'Brien, Nicole Kidman and Lindsay Lohan have beefed up personal security. We can only hope.
