23-Year-Old Impaired Driver Detained after Hit-and-Run Collision near Glendale Avenue

GLENDALE, AZ (November 14, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, Antonio Diosdadio Campos was arrested after a DUI hit-and-run crash.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m., near Glendale Avenue on November 9th.

Reports indicate that a police-vehicle SUV, occupied by an officer and a person in custody, was crossing 75th Avenue when Campos attempted to make a left turn in front of the vehicle.

The pickup-truck and the police vehicle then collided. Upon impact, Antonio Diosdadio Campos attempted to flee the scene before he was later caught.

Paramedics arrived to the scene and transported a passenger inside the pickup-truck to a nearby hospital for treatment. Although, police have not yet released their identity.

The officer and the hit-and-run suspect were also checked and their condition was not lethal.
