22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Collision in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 27, 2021) – Thursday afternoon, 22-year-old Antonio Aguirre was killed in a collision in Moreno Valley.

The crash took place around 3:35 p.m., on Atwood Avenue near Indian Street, as stated by police. Officers arrived to the scene shortly after.

According to the authorities, Aguirre was driving a 2004 Honda motorcycle heading westbound when he crossed the centerline to pass a 2016 Kia Soul. There, Aguirre collided into the driver’s side and was ejected.

Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures; however, Antonio Aguirre was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Kia, whose identity was not revealed, was not wounded and was freed after deputies questioned him.

At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing. Once available, more information will soon be released.
