Protesters shut down the intersection of Highland Ave. and Wilshire Blvd. on July 29 in response to Arizona's controversial anti-immigration law, SB 1070. Some protesters handcuffed themselves to each other and laid in a circle in the middle of the intersection as an act of civil disobedience. Arrests were made.
