Jaime Rodriguez Jr. Arrested in Suspected DUI Crash near Mesa Verde Lane
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 28, 2023) – Thursday night, Anthony Prince lost his life and Jaime Rodriguez Jr. was arrested after a pedestrian crash on Rainbow Boulevard. The incident happened on May 4th, at around 10:45 p.m. near Mesa Verde Lane. According to reports, 26-year-old Rodriguez Jr. was driving a 2020 Chevrolet 1500 Trail Boss northbound on Rainbow Boulevard when he struck Prince who was laying in the road. Witnesses to the crash performed CPR on Prince while waiting for authorities to arrive. Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after and pronounced 48-year-old Anthony Prince dead at the scene. Following the crash, police arrested 26-year-old Jaime Rodriguez Jr. on charges of DUI and reckless driving resulting in death, and possession of a gun under the influence of alcohol. Reports later stated that on May 10th, an Officer of the Coroner ruled Prince’s death to be an accident.No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment.
