47-Year-Old Anthony Peel Killed in Vehicle Collision near Pepper Drive

EL CAJON, CA (April 28, 2023) – Sunday night, Anthony Peel died following a motorcycle crash near 1601 Pepper Drive.

The incident happened on April 2nd, just before 8:25 p.m. involving a 2015 Ford F-150 and a 2011 Ducati 848.

According to CHP, a 64-year-old man was driving the Ford traveling northbound while 47-year-old Peel was riding the Ducati heading eastbound. The Ford and the Ducati collided with each other causing the motorcyclist to be ejected from his motorcycle.

Before the paramedics arrive, the motorcyclist died due to the extent of his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford did not suffer any injuries and remained at the scene.

Following the crash, it was unknown if alcohol or impairment played a role in the incident.

At this time, the identity of the rider was not yet released by the authorities. Further investigation is still active.
