Sherell Dupree and Erika Gibbons Hurt in Vehicular Crash near West Desert Inn Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 20, 2023) – Sunday morning, Anthony Holloway lost his life after a single-car rollover crash on South Durango Road. The accident occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on April 30th, at South Durango Drive, north of West Desert Inn Road. According to reports, Holloway was traveling northbound in a 2021 Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed, approaching West Road when he lost control. The vehicle then swerved off the roadway, colliding with signs and landscaping before landing on its passenger side in a private driveway on South Durango Drive. Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after. Paramedics transported Holloway, Sherell Dupree, 31, a passenger in the car, and Erica Gibbons, 36, a pedestrian struck by debris, to UMC for treatment. Meanwhile, police said that the driver, 32-year-old Anthony Holloway succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. At this time, investigators are unsure as to what caused the driver to veer off the road.
