20-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Auto Collision near Scandia
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 11, 2021) – 20-year-old Anthony Andres lost his life following a rollover crash on Mariposa Road Sunday night.
The tragic accident took place in the area of 12600 block of Mariposa Road near Scandia. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
According to reports, a dark blue 2003 Toyota Camry overturned multiple times before coming to a halt in an empty dirt lot. Due to the impact of the collision, emergency crews pronounced Andres dead at the scene.
Meanwhile medics airlifted the other victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
At this time, investigators are unsure as to what caused the driver to veer off the road. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
A GoFundMe page has been made by the family to help with costs during this devastating time. Victorville police will update the public with more information when it becomes available.
