Los Angeles Fiery Car Crash Left Annabelle Robinson and Four Others Dead

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 18, 2022) – Sunday morning, five people lost their lives in a fiery car crash on Pacific Coast Highway.

The accident occurred on November 6th, around 4:30 a.m., near Point Mugu. The incident involved a 2020 Subaru sedan and a 2011 Toyota SUV. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Subaru, driven by Sanic, veered over the center median into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into the Toyota, occupied by Robinson, Ferrer, Teves, and Banayo. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to catch fire. Local firefighters arrived shortly after to extinguish the fire. They then found 27-year-old Kevin Sanic of Los Angeles; 38-year-old Annabelle Robinson of Camarillo; 68-year-old Mario Ferrer of Port Hueneme; 48-year-old Carmen Teves of North York, Canada; and 67-year-old Nora Banayo of Brampton, Canada dead in their vehicles. Following the collision, California Highway Patrol officers temporarily closed both lanes for several hours to perform cleanup and preliminary duties. A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Annabelle Robinson’s funeral expenses and family.
