33-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash

Los Angeles, CA (January 23, 2021) – Saturday morning, 33-year-old Anibal Macias Jr. was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Alameda Street.

As stated on KTLA news report, the tragic incident occurred on Alameda and 22nd Street. According to reports, an unidentified driver of a motor vehicle struck Macias while walking on the sidewalk.

Upon impact, the suspect failed to stop and render aid to the severely injured victim. Despite life-saving efforts, Macias died at the scene.

Under California Vehicle Code 20001 (a), drivers must stop the moment that he committed a crime and stay at the place where the incident occurred until the police arrive.

LAPD is currently offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who can give any data leading to the suspect’s name, location, apprehension and resolution through civil compromise.
