31-Year-Old Woman Killed in DUI Accident near Porter Avenue

FRESNO, CA (November 17, 2022) – Early Friday morning, Angelica Lepiz was killed in a DUI collision on Manning Avenue.

Around 12:10 a.m., police responded to the scene just east of Porter Avenue on November 11th.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, a Toyota was traveling near an orange grove when, for reasons currently unknown, it overturned.

First responders arrived and found a 4-year-old boy, a 2-year-old girl, a 29-year-old man, and 31-year-old Angelica Lepiz inside the vehicle.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Lepiz dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the injured man to Reedley Hospital for further treatment.

Moreover, the two children remained unharmed.

Following preliminary duties, officials suspect impairment as a factor in the collision. Once available, more information will be provided.
