Vehicle Accident near Kirkwood Road Left Two Injured

TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (May 17, 2022) – On Thursday, a collision on South Avenue left Angelica Castillo and Tyler Mitchel hurt, police said.

A school bus and a Honda Civic collided in the westbound lane of South Avenue, resulting in two injuries.

According to the investigation, the Civic struck the rear of the school bus for reasons unknown.

Eventually, Tyler Mitchell the driver and Angelica Castillo his passenger, both suffered injuries and required hospitalization.

Furthermore, no students on the bus were reported to have been injured in the collision.

No other details about the crash are available. However, an active investigation into the crash is underway.
