35-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies in Crash near Seminary Drive Off-Ramp

MILL VALLEY, CA (April 20, 2022) – Sunday night, Dr. Andrew Warner Barone died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 101, authorities reported.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 10 p.m. on April 17th in the southbound lanes near the Seminary Drive off-ramp.

Per the investigation, police learned 35-year-old Barone of Lockport, New York was walking along the highway for reasons still unknown when he was struck by a vehicle.

Authorities received multiple calls, including from the driver of the vehicle involved, reporting the incident.

Upon arrival, emergency crews pronounced Andrew Barone dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.

At this time, no further details regarding the incident have been made public.
