Big-Rig vs. Car Collision Sends 35-Year-Old Andrew Olson to Hospital

FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA (September 16, 2021) – Wednesday night, Andrew Olson, 35, was injured in a two-vehicle crash along the southbound SR 17.

The deadly accident took place around 8:30 p.m. Officers arrived about 15 miles south of Othello, on State Route 17.

According to WSP, Olson veered across the center line, colliding with a semi-truck.

Police also reported that Olson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Paramedics quickly transported the injured man to a local hospital for treatment. However, his current condition is unknown.

Washington officials stated that Andrew Olson was suspected to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.
