44-Year-Old Pilot Fatally Injured in Small Aircraft Collision on Benton Road

HEMET, CA (February 15, 2023) – Sunday morning, Andrew Houser was pronounced dead after a plane accident on Judy Lane.

The incident happened around 10:51 a.m., on January 22nd near Benton Road.

Multiple callers reported that a plane crashed in the 36600 block of Judy Lane in a residential area. First responders found a small ultralight plane, although the events leading up still remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the pilot, 44-year-old Houser, of San Jacinto dead at the scene. No other passengers were inside the aircraft at the time.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is still conducting an active investigation into the plane crash on Judy Lane and will release further information once available.
