Rider Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Accident on Marquesas Way

MARINA DEL REY, CA (October 14, 2022) – Thursday morning, Andrew Chilcott was killed in a motorcycle collision on Via Marina.

The fatal collision happened around 12:04 a.m., near Marquesas Way. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident and the total number of parties involved remain unclear.

Reports indicate that medics pronounced one motorcyclist dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the deceased rider as 39-year-old Chilcott, of Marina del Rey. 

No further details regarding the Via Marina traffic crash have been released to the public; however, Los Angeles County Officials will provide more information once available.
