23-Year-Old Rider Died after Motorcycle-Truck Collision near Bake Parkway
IRVINE, CA (September 6, 2023) – On Tuesday afternoon, a motorcycle and truck collision near Irvine Center Drive claimed the life of Andres Osegueda. The investigators stated that the collision occurred on August 29th at about 2:30 p.m. near Irvine Center Drive and Bake Parkway. In addition, a gray GMC pickup truck and a Yamaha motorcycle, driven by 23-year-old Andres Osegueda, were involved in the collision. Furthermore, the authorities arrived at the scene and transported Osegueda with severe injuries to the hospital. Unfortunately, Osegueda succumbed to his injuries, and he later died. Additionally, the truck driver did not obtain any injuries and he cooperated with the authorities. Consequently, the authorities stated that alcohol was not a factor in the incident and further investigation is still active. Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
