46-Year-Old Pilot Killed in San Diego Plane Accident

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 10, 2022) – Saturday before noon, a plane crash at Montgomery Gibbs-Executive Airport left Andre Roosevelt Green dead.

The incident happened at around 11:56 a.m. at 8634 Gibbs Drive, northeast end of the airport.

According to the responding personnel, firefighters extricated the pilot trapped inside the plane’s wreckage. Medical personnel then transported 46-year-old Andre Roosevelt Green to a hospital, where he died at around 1:20 p.m. the same day.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the plane crash remain unclear. Authorities shut down the runway to clean up the scene and perform preliminary duties.
