Two Riders Fatally Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Civic Center Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (March 16, 2022) – Sunday, Andre Lashon Lewis and Parrish John Jones died in a motorcycle collision on East Cheyenne Avenue.

The deadly incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., near Civic Center Drive.

According to reports, three motorcyclists were heading east on Cheyenne, while the driver of an SUV was heading west.

For reasons under investigation, two of the motorcyclists crossed over into the westbound lane, where one of the riders struck the SUV. However, further details leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 52-year-old Lewis and 53-year-old Jones dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the female driver of the SUV and the third motorcyclist were both taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Following preliminary investigations, officers considered speed as a factor in the accident.
