Coming from a small town, Brandon had to go against the grain and ultimately travelled down a path unknown. Friends and family members doubted his obscure choice to ditch traditional marketing and dive headfirst into social media marketing but Brandon knew something they didn’t. With a huge passion for travel, Mimms has visited over 25 countries and plans to go to every continent. With social media as a job I am lucky to be able to work remotely and accomplish other goals while doing it.”, Mimms said.

Here is how Brandon started his journey

Brandon, deep inside, never saw himself as a typical 9-5 worker. Soon after high school, Mimms decided to follow his passion and pursue an education in Sales and Marketing. After graduating at the top of his class, he began working to pay his bills while
experimenting with Twitter. He began to recognize patterns in its content promotion algorithm, learnt that the largest growing accounts often had a female demographic with content focused on popular media, fashion and trends and soon became proficient in getting his content to go viral.

As Brandon vigorously pounded pavement he reached over a half a million followers for the first time. Achieving this goal unlocked the ability to grow more accounts where he later reached over ten million followers on a separate account.

Today Mimms works with several transnational firms such as PUBG mobile and Runescape with numerous verified artists, actors, athletes, and social media influencers. He has partnerships with many up and coming startups, cannabis companies and celebrities.
As a Niagara Falls, Ontario native, he is working with businesses in that region to develop and improve social media marketing skills of people in Niagara.

What Brandon says about his journey

“As cliché as it sounds build something that you are passionate about and the money will come. There is no secret formula to success, you have to work for it. It took me a lot of time to realize what I was truly passionate about and I took many other paths before I came across social media marketing. It started as a hobby and as it grew, the time and effort I put in grew alongside it. ”, said Mimms.

Brandon plans for his social media empire

Mimms continues to believe that social media will always be a driving force in the way that we consume content. He plans to continue growing his digital marketing agency in the region while continuing to expand his social media presence on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat.

He knows that platforms may die but he still believes that the concept of social media will live on forever. Mimms will continue to grow his empire and dominate the social media world for years to come.

“I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Just like my accounts, I am continuously growing. My network, outreach and influence continue to grow with every transaction and post I make. I am always growing, expanding my knowledge and learning about the latest and greatest. I plan to continue growing my brand on social media and hope to be a mentor for young individuals fresh on the social media scene. I will continue investing my time, money and hard work into my businesses.”, Mimms remarked.
