Amindi has One Eye on the Prize with CYCLOPS: L.A.-based R&B/hip-hop artist Amindi has released new single and video “Cyclops,” and she’s pulling no punches.

She opens the song with the line, “My neck so shiny hoe, Don’t fucking try me hoe, Tongue like lighting bolt, Touch like a midas gold.” So straight away, she’s telling the world that she doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

“CYCLOPS is a self-affirming mantra in the form of a fire song,” Amindi said in a statement. “It is full of manifestations for people who can’t be fucked with.”

The video allows us to see Amindi performing the song on stage, or various stages, with cut-ins to backstage views. The song has been released on the one-year anniversary of her nice EP.

“Produced by Louie Lastic and Dan Foster, ‘CYCLOPS’ marks the first of a two-track release including a second song with a special guest, coming soon,” reads a press release. “The new track follows Amindi’s tour alongside Chicago rapper Saba which wrapped up earlier this summer and saw her performing the EP nationwide.”
