America's Next Great Restaurant, the new reality food show from CBS set to hit your TV screen this fall, is holding an open casting call today, Monday, April 5th, in Burbank. The new series, brought to you from the producers of Project Runway and Top Chef, will pit contestants against each other for the opportunity to open a new restaurant chain in 4 American cities. The potential restaurateurs, who needn't have any previous cooking or restaurant experience — hey, what fun would that be? — will attempt to impress a panel of real investors who will fund the chain of restaurants with their own (also real) money.

On said panel of investors will be Bobby Flay — the other 4 judge-investors have yet to be announced — who will bring his restaurant experience, television charisma and smackdown expertise to the contest. So if you're on your way to Burbank (the Chipotle, of all places), you might want to bring your dog-eared copy of Boy Gets Grill: 125 Reasons to Light Your Fire! to read while you're waiting in line.

Interested applicants for the series should pre-register for the casting call. Bring the application (filled out, signed), a photo ID, and anything that you feel would help pitch your restaurant idea. “Elements could be visual, edible or even wearable.” Okay, then. If you're going to wear your restaurant idea, please send us a picture. If it doesn't work out, you have your Halloween costume done six months early.

Burbank Chipotle casting call: 135 E. Palm Avenue, Burbank; Monday, April 5th, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
