Vehicle Wreck near Camp Lowell Kills 82-Year-Old Amelia Guzman

TUCSON, AZ (October 1, 2021) – Wednesday Afternoon, September 22, Amelia Guzman died in a midtown vehicle collision.

The collision took place at around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Swan and Camp Lowell, as per report.

According to the Tucson Police Department, a silver 2018 Toyota Camry and a gray 2016 Dodge Challenger collided together.

Moreover, medics transported the driver of the Camry to Banner University Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Additionally, investigators stated Guzman was attempting to perform a U-turn from the southbound lanes of Swan Road to the road’s northbound lanes when the speeding Challenger collided with her vehicle.

Furthermore, officers said they concluded the driver of the Challenger was not intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Meanwhile, the crash is under investigation.
