At Least 3 Injured in Wrong-Way Collision on Highway 281

QUINCY, WA (February 1, 2022) Ambrosio and Fernando Luis Ibanezhernandez and Isael Solano were hurt in a crash on Highway 281.

The incident took place along the northbound lanes of Highway 281 around 6:00 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, 20-year-old Ambrosio crossed the center line while driving a 2001 Honda Accord and slammed with a 1996 Toyota truck.

Officers responded and took Ambrosio and the passenger, 24-year-old Fernando, to Quincy Valley Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Meanwhile, medics brought the pickup truck’s driver, 42-year-old Isael Solano, of Quincy to the Quincy Hospital.

Charges against Ambrosio Ibanezhernandez are pending, according to the State Patrol. However, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, more information will be released.
