Apparently vying for parent of the year, Amber Lee Gutierrez not only accompanied her daughter to an after-school fight in San Pedro recently, she participated.

That, at least, is according to charges filed against the 33-year-old super-mom.

The L.A. County District Attorney's office says Gutierrez went mommy-a-mano with …

… a 12-year-old girl.

Really.

The fighting went down Jan. 14 in a West Gaffey Street alley, according to the D.A.'s office.

Mama Gutierrez was charged, the office says, with …

… one felony count of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury. The complaint alleged that Gutierrez personally inflicted great bodily injury on victim, whom LAPD said is 12 years old.

She's behind bars in lieu of $100,000 bond, prosecutors say.

Gutierrez was expected to enter a plea today.
