Unless your night involves memorializing Øystein Aarseth–a.k.a. Euronymous the late guitarist from the insane Norweigan black metal band Mayhem, catch Philly rapper/singer Amanda Blank as she stops by Amoeba Records tonight after not playing at the deflated Hard Summer event on Saturday.

The cohort of Spankrock, Santi Gold and Diplo rolled into town for the unfortunate HARD attack debacle and following last week's release of her long awaited solo album, I Love You. On her new record, she pushes her rapid fire nasty rapping, which she deftly wielded on Spankrock's track, “Bump,” to the next level. Heir apparent to Peaches, she is not. But Blank is a Swiss army knife of dance music, she sings, produces, and raps better than most boys. Just don't look for the cork screw.
