Head-On Collision near South Street Left Two Fatalities

CERRITOS, CA (February 23, 2022) – A head-on crash on the 605 freeway claimed the life of Alyssa Aragon Ramirez Friday night.

According to the report, the crash occurred around 2:20 am along the southbound lanes of the 605, just north of South Street.

Furthermore, a witness saw a Hyundai Elantra driver make a U-turn and proceeded in the wrong direction.

Meanwhile, a good Samaritan extricated the other driver, identified as a 26-year-old Ramirez from her vehicle.

However, despite their life-saving efforts, Ramirez also died at the scene.

Friends and Family of Ramirez put up a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral expenses.
